About Program

Kalecik Vocational School Food Technology Program provides training  two-year associate degree. Students are required to make 25 working days summer internship at the end of the second semester .


The Food Technology Program  purpose of about food science, food technology and food safety issues of theoretical and practical knowledge, production lines and quality control of food analysis laboratories to work on its development considered as a way of life that is innovative, creative and entrepreneurial, ranging from the food industry, the public sector and to respond to the needs of the consumer’s level of quality is to train technical staff.

Summary of Program Outcomes

Evaluates improvements about food technology by using scientific method and new technology effectively.Has technical knowledge about hardware and software that his job requires.Knows how regulations and rules are applied when necessary.Has theoretical knowledge about food technology processes.Has enough knowledge about natural components and specialites of food along with food processing and protection techniques.Realizes food analysis and takes necessary precautions about production and protection by evaluating data.Uses tools and equipments about food technology.
