HISTORY

Our school was established in accordance with the decision of the Ankara University Senate dated 28.4.1992 and numbered 146/1179 and the meeting of the Higher Education Executive Board dated 14.10.1992, in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547 amended by Law No. 2880. In 1993-1994 academic year, our school started teaching with the Horticulture Associate Degree Program opened within the Technical Programs Department. With the opening of the Landscape Associate Degree Program in the 1997-1998 academic year, the Food Technology Associate Degree Program in the 1999-2000 academic year and the Wine Production Technology and Viticulture Associate Degree Program in the 2007-2008 academic year, the number of programs within our School increased to four. The Associate Degree Program in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants opened in the 2017-2018 academic year and the Associate Degree Program in Plant Protection opened in the 2020-2021 academic year. In the 2021-2022 academic year, the name of the Wine Production Technology program was changed to Viticulture and Vineyard Products Technology and our School continues its education and training life with six programs.
